Claire Millet was a specialist at Om Namo in CranioSacral Therapy. She used light touch during treatments to rebalance the musculoskeletal and nervous systems. Claire drew on certifications in Naturopahy, Reiki, Acupuncture and massage therapy for effective, informed sessions.
Claire graduated from the University of Bridgeport with a doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and a Master in Acupuncture. She also held certifications in Massage Therapy and Reiki (Level II). She often used both Acupuncture and CranioSacral Therapy during a treatment, and she met her patients where they were by using the appropriate modality/modalities depending on the need and preference of the patient. Combining her knowledge of Chinese Medicine with this treatment allowed for a profound treatment of conditions of pain, anxiety and stress, amongst others.
Claire’s treatments incorporated a high level of sensitivity for the client and the healing process, as her work was inspired and informed by her own experience with Ulcerative Colitis and Breast Cancer.
In addition to providing services to her clients, she worked in the front end of the office until January, 2023, when she decided to leave Om Namo to focus more on her health.
We were saddened to learn that Claire died this morning, Monday, February 5. We express our deepest sympathy for this inspirational, beautiful and brave young soul.
